Saying Good-bye - Photo



Alyssa Tallman, 15, center, is comforted by fellow 4-H'er Leanne Bregni,12, and Barb Spink, one of the 4-H parents, after she broke down in tears waiting for her lamb to be picked up for slaughter after the fair. This was Tallman's second lamb to raise and next year will be raising a steer.


Traverse City, Mich. - 08/14/2005 - 4-H'ers hug and comfort each other outside a fair barn as they wait for their animals to be picked up by buyers for slaughter after Northwester Michigan Fair, Sunday, August 14, 2005 just outside of Traverse City, Mich.
