Traverse City, Mich. - 10/14/2005 - A gas pump hits the $95 mark as Dan Ahrns fills up his Country Coach. "The pump will only let me charge 95 dollars of fuel at a time," Ahrns said. "After that I have to start all over validating my charge card again." His Coach holds 110 gallons of diesel fuel and gets 9 to 9.5 miles per gallon. To save on fuel Ahms does not drive as fast, does shorter trips, keeps up on routine maintenance and keeps the tires at the right pressure.
