Reading First Grant Materials - Photo

Kalkaska, Mich. - 10/07/2005 - Kalkaska's Birch Street Elementary Principal, Jessica Ziecina, works with two students, Andrew Woodruff, 8, and Natalia Chela, 5, using some of the Reading First Grant Materials the school received. The grant was for 1.2 million dollars over three-years. Rapid City Elementary will also receive some of the grant money based on the number of students in each school. The money is supplied by the federal government and distributed by the State.
