Negotiate a good deal - Post

Mark Hancock has done it again with some very good advice for PJ’s that are looking for new jobs or in the process negotiating a new job. He has covered two different aspects of the negotiation of fixed costs and variable costs. Dreaded Feature Picture - Post

If you’re a photographer or photojournalist working for a daily newspaper that requires you to take feature pictures, wild art pictures, or enterprise pictures day after day. Then you need to read Dennis Dunleavy’s The Big Picture and take a look at his post on the challenges of taking these photos. He provides some tips in dealing with this massive production of pictures.

Another excellent source is the book “The Great Picture Hunt 2: The Art and Ethics of Feature Picture Hunting” by Dave Labelle. The book gives even seasoned photojournalist an insight into looking for and finding the "dreaded" feature picture.
