The Traverse City Attorney and Police Chief are considering draft ordinance that would prohibit people from using guns in a way that would lead people to believe it is a real weapon. "It's really just common sense," said Berry. "They should be treated like real guns."

Traverse City, Mich. - 04/07/2005 - Traverse City Street Department workers Brandon Southwell and Dave Bedford watch as Mark Jones removes dirt from the J. Smith Walkway in downtown Traverse City to begin improving the walkway. Phase one of the project, involves restoring the cement walkway and adding some landscaping with city funds. Phase two will be hopefully be funded by citizen donations. "It is a cooperative effort to restore the walkway," said Bob Cole of Traverse City Public Services.
