Peddle Power - Photo



Mackinac Island, Mich. - 06/04/2005 - (Lower) A hotel porter rides his bicycle, loaded with two sets of golf clubs and numerous bags, down Main Street on historic Mackinac Island, for delivery to one of the ferries going back to the mainland. (Upper) Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the island so all transportation is via bicycle or horse drawn carriages.

Going To Seed - Photo



Traverse City, Mich. - 05/29/2005 - It was a very slow day today so I though I would shot some of the dandelions going to seed in the orchards. I swear they should make dandelions the Michigan State flower. The orchards have millions of them with almost all of them going to seed at the same time.
